The fourth edition of the International Meeting on Aortic Disease was a success in 2014 with 275 Attendees from 27 Countries, more than 100 abstracts (including the competition free papers), almost 100 Talks, 16 ePosters and 29 oral communications from selected papers.

IMAD 2014 has been focusing on basic research, genetic aspects of aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, aortitis, and their treatment as well as on the new pathophysiological concepts in bicuspid aortic valve, TAVI and surgical treatment of aortic valve diseases. We have also organized a parallel perfusion session to provide information about the latest innovation in perfusion.
