An area of convents and collegiate churches since the Middle Ages, this district has experienced rapid growth since the start of the XIXth century and is now a centre for luxury shopping, business and theatre. With the focus on shopping and leisure, the Carré is the trendy area of Liege. The walk ends with a visit to the cathedral of Saint-Paul (subject to access restrictions).
